When I first received the Motoactv I was extremely excited because I had been waiting for the 'next generation' GPS sports watch. However my excitement turned to disappointment when I experienced multiple crashes and subpar battery life. The reason this review gets 10 stars is the excellent support from Motorola, they have issued 3 software updates since the ACTV was released that has addressed all of my complaints as well as added many new features. Motorola has also been very active in letting users know what features are coming and this ensures me the future support for this product will be there. As a Garmin 305 convert This watch easily beats the Garmins hands down in useability as well as overall function. I am very satisfied with this device and will be getting a second one for my wife. This watch is the first GPS watch where features can continue to be added with updates, it will only get better with time.
